Join us April 18th for a FREE "April Showers" Happiness Hour! This is a wonderful opportunity to network with purpose with the like-minded women of the caring Women With Promise community while helping disadvantaged women right here in north Texas. Event is free and cocktails and nibbles provided!
Our Signature Designer Handbag Raffle will help us meet our goal of delivering $10,000 to "shower" the Rural Early Childhood Network Program (ReACH) of the Fannin Behavioral Health Leadership Team with funds to provide much-needed supplies. This amazing organization provides encouragement, support and supplies to north Texas at-risk moms and children.

Through our "April Showers" Happiness Hour raffle ticket sales, Women with Promise is wrapping around these moms, providing encouragement, support, and supplies for the Fanin Behavioral Health Leadership Team's early childhood education program. The mothers they serve face barriers and risk factors with few to no supports, harmfully affecting both them and the youngest community members. Fanin's Parent Educators will use the supplies Women with Promise is donating to create bonds and relationships while building families resources to care for their children.

Another fabulous Cocktails & Couture is on the books. The fashion experts at NeimanMarcus put on an incredible show and our guests were definitely inspired! Santa passed out cookies and posed for "elfies" as cocktails and delectable delights were passed. And of course, a little private shopping to kick off the holidays.
The best part? Mingling with like-minded women while raising more than $25,000 to give a hand up to north Texas women emerging from crisis.

We had such a great time at our recent #HappinessHour! We were thrilled to gather with our caring community to hear from Janet Collinsworth, Founder and Executive Director of Agape Resource & Assistance Center, Inc. on the work they're doing to provide safe, stable housing and support services for women and children in #NorthTexas, helping them break cycles of abuse, poverty and homelessness. Proceeds from the event will help fund facility renovations to provide much-needed services to more women and children.

One of our most popular events of the year, and this year the WWP team and partners and fashion experts at Neiman Marcus outdid themselves! A magical night of fashion, champagne, espresso martinis, delicious nibbles and private shopping—all with a wonderful group of #differencemakers! It’s no wonder this event sells out every year! What a magical time we had at Cocktails, Couture & Cookies with Santa! Nearly $20,000 was raised for the Women With Promise Scholarship Fund, helping women from Dallas and Collin counties who have emerged from crisis and are building better lives for themselves and their families.

Crafting the Perfect Charcuterie With Chef Kristen Massad

Our spring Virtual Happiness Hour was a wonderful demonstration from Chef Kristen Massad of Joy+Oliver, filled with advice and inspiration on building the perfect charcuterie. Kristen’s top 5 tips:

Choose your charcuterie board based on your crowd size
-
Crumble, slice or cube the cheese to invite sampling
-
Drain marinated cheese, olives, artichokes, etc. to avoid mess
-
Place cheese and meats first, add the biggest garnishes next, then fill in the nooks and crannies with dried fruit, nuts, small chocolates, etc.

Midway through sampling, move what's left toward the center of the board so it continues to look appealing

Women With Promise is famous for our FREE Happiness Hours and Signature Designer Handbag Raffle, all to benefit the Women With Promise Scholarship Fund.
Our fall Happiness Hour was our first virtual event and was streamed from the fabulous Omni Dallas. We loved celebrating the Women With Promise Scholarship program's first graduate and spending time with our caring community. The highlight of the event was step-by-step instructions by Chef Beatriz who demonstrated how to make a potato canape and Mixologist Emily worked her magic on a tasty Scottish Mule.
And, thank you Omni Dallas, it was great to see our name in lights!
3rd annual cocktails, couture & cookies with Santa

Fun, fashion and philanthropy! At this sold out event, guests enjoyed champagne, appetizers and pictures with Santa as well as a private fashion show and shopping at Neiman Marcus, complimentary Marc Jacobs and Christian Dior makeovers, fabulous goodie bags, raffle with Valentino purse, Akola necklace and more. This is always one of our most popular events!

Our Disco Ball was a smashing success! From twinkling disco balls to leisure suits and platform shoes Women With Promise recaptured the Studio 54 magic!
Host Colleen Coyle of WFAA kicked off the evening and introduced surprise special guest "Cher". Amid the specialty 70's inspired cocktails and bites, our guests were looking totally disco glam from their free makeovers from Marc Jacobs and Jo Malone.
The DJ played all of our favorite funky tunes from The Bee Gees, KC and the Sunshine Band, Gloria Gaynor, and Donna Summer. The electric light dance floor had our guests dancing the night away.
Thank you sponsors, guests and volunteers for helping us raise more than $75,000 to support our mission of empowering north Texas women emerging from poverty and crisis through education. Proceeds from our Boogie Wonderland go directly to the Women With Promise Scholarship Fund.
