Annual Scholarship Luncheon 2024

We loved celebrating the Women With Promise Scholarship Fund and our Scholars at another sold out event!
Our Scholars demonstrate strength and courage to succeed over adversity. And we're so proud that to date we've awarded 17 Scholars more than $50,000 to pursue higher education to build a better life for themselves and their families.
Something that makes our Scholarship Program unique is mentorship - we match Scholars with professionals from our caring community who provide guidance and support.
Summer Happiness hour
July 25, 2024
Our Summer Happiness Hour at the Dallas Frontgate store was a big success! Thank you to our caring community for purchasing raffle tickets and coming by to mingle, network and learn how to style an outdoor summer table, all benefitting Hope's Door New Beginnings Center!
We are thrilled to donate $5,000 to Hope's Door New Beginnings Center to further their mission of ending abuse. These funds will be used to purchase much-needed items for the women and children who flee life-threatening situations of abuse without even the basic necessities.

Happiness hour
April 18, 2024
We were thrilled to present Stephanie Chandler of Community Well's BabyBright Beginnings program with $10,000 to help at-risk women and children in Denton County, thanks to YOU!
Happiness Hour attendees were touched as Stephanie talked about the overwhelming need and challenges these moms with young children face.
"We have a waiting list through December and were unable to help any more families this year. Thanks to Women With Promise, we can now add 15 more families to our program and fund 630 hours of direct services," Stephanie shared when presented with the donation.
BabyBright's goal is to support every family until their child enters school. Each family receives 6 hours a month of comprehensive support, including:

Community resources such as food and diapers and a family goal plan

Group social connections to foster community and peer support

One-on-one lesson plans and modeling learning activities

Family screenings required by our curriculum
In total, this translates to 630 hours of direct services, benefiting approximately 45 individuals. However, estimating an average of three people per family, though in reality, this number is often higher.

2023 Cocktails & Couture
at Neiman Marcus

Another fabulous Cocktails & Couture is on the books. The fashion experts at NeimanMarcus put on an incredible show and our guests were definitely inspired! Santa passed out cookies and posed for "elfies" as cocktails and delectable delights were passed. And of course, a little private shopping to kick off the holidays.
The best part? Mingling with like-minded women while raising more than $25,000 to give a hand up to north Texas women emerging from crisis.
